Workshop options - day conference

You will be able to choose between any two of the following:

1. Campaigns update - the move to climate and tax justice. Al Roxburgh, Christian Aid Campaigns Officer.

As the global financial crisis rumbles on, calls for tax justice are getting stronger. Likewise, floods and other natural disasters that devastate the world's poorest communities remind us of what can be expected with changing climate. Hear about campaigning progress in the last year and how you can get involved in the fight for climate and tax justice.

2. Your Kingdom Come - with Micah Challenge and Christian Aid. Revd Dr Joel Edwards & Andy Clasper, Christian Aid Church Relations Manager.

Find out how we think the world can get better.

3. The Justice and Worship Workshop. Liz Baddaley.

How to lead Christian Worship in a way that genuinely incorporates issues of justice.

4. Making the most of your fundraising. Anne Phipps, Christian Aid Head of Church Appeals & Helen Burgess, Events Fundraising Officer.

Ideas, motivation and tips on how to make your fundraising activity more fruitful and less labour intensive.

Drop-in sessions - day conference

If you wish, you can join others in the following discussions:

1. Christian Aid Week MOT - for all those irritating administrative and other questions.

2. Special interest networking - to meet other volunteer speakers, teachers, local organisers or others working in the same role as you around the West region

3. Grill the director and partner - an opportunity for debate and discussion with one of our directors and our partner Haiti Survie.

4. Good Will Lunch - taster session for Good Will Fundraising Events that entertain, inform and inspire people about Christian Aid and making a Will. What’s the connection? Around 10% of our funds come from gifts in Wills, making a huge difference to our work. Come and see how we deliver that important messages in a fun way, suitable for all ages, lunch included.
